ACM Inter-Collegiate Programming Cyprus Competition

The first ACM ICPC (Inter-Collegiate Programming Competition) Cyprus Competition, took place at UCLan Cyprus on the 13th of May 2017.

The programming competition is an annual event organized all over the world, but this is the first time the competition will be organized in Cyprus. The competition allows teams from Cyprus universities to compete in programming problems in several programming languages (Java, C++, Python). The winning team will be sponsored to participate in the regional ACM programming competition and if successful to the international finals.

By participating in the competition, you get an additional employability advantage showing your programming skills in a university level competition.

If you are interested in participanting, as a first step create your team of 2 or 3 programmers from your university. Then, find a coach (it could be a university lecturer or staff or a post-graduate student).

Finally, visit www.icpc-cyprus.com and register for the competition. Each team is registered once by their coach.

GET Lab’s director Dr.Despina Grigoriou (Michael) is part of the Organising Committee.

For any troubles with the registration process, please contact the Cyprus Collegiate Programming Contest Director for ACM, Dr. Josephina Antoniou (jantoniou@uclan.ac.uk) with the names of the team programmers and the name of the coach.
