An Innovation Camp in Creative and Cultural Industries was organized by Junior Achievement Cyprus in collaboration with the UNESCO National Commission and took place at the Panos Solomonides Cultural Centre in Limassol on 14 November 2024.
During the Innovation Day, students gathered to tackle a specific business challenge and propose solutions. It was an intensive, full-day experience, as the students had to develop a solution within a very limited time, utilizing available technology, information, and resources.
This year, the challenge focused on “Culture and Health.” Assoc. Prof. Despina Michael-Grigoriou was once again invited as a panel speaker, sharing her expertise in Virtual Reality for Well-Being. She discussed technologies and innovative applications related to cultural and social aspects that promote good health, highlighting examples from GET Lab’s projects and her extensive work in the field.
