GET Lab’s PhD candidate and research associate at ‘VR for Well-Being’ group, Ali Najm presented the paper “The Iterative Development of an Online Multiplayer Escape Room Game for Improving Social Interaction through Edutainment”. This paper presents the development of an online, multiplayer, escape room game, which aims to improve social interaction through edutainment.
The work has been presented at the 30th International Conference in Central Europe on Computer Graphics, Visualization and Computer Vision (WSCG 2022), that was held online on 17-20 May 2022.
The game was implemented by VR for Well-Being MRG, with support of GET Lab and received funding by UNDP. The VR for Well-Being group is the extension of GET Lab, Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts, Cyprus University of Technology at CYENS CoE.
